NEW RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS – ICD-10
Beginning in 2013, if your current certificate has an expiration date between September 30, 2013 and August 31, 2015, you will be required to submit 2.5 CEU credits related to ICD-10. These will be part of the required 12 CEU credits that are normally submitted every 2 years but will only need to be submitted once. The 2.5 CEU credits must be obtained from an RCCB approved program and must be submitted by the expiration date shown on your most recent certificate. You must submit proof of the 2.5 RCCB-accepted CEU credits by providing copies of your CEU certificates with your application. If it is not clear that ICD-10 was the topic in the session title, you must provide clear session/seminar descriptions or brochures. The RCCB will review the submitted CEU certificates and has the sole responsibility for making the final decision of approval. |
