Yes, the 2016 RCC exam and beyond includes only ICD-10 questions.
Q. What about ICD-10 for recertification?
RCC certificants who took the exam prior to 2015 must demonstrate at least 2.5 hours of RCCB-approved ICD-10 education upon recertification. This is a one-time requirement.
Q. Do I have to retake the examination to recertify?
No. You may recertify by exam or by continuing education. If you choose continuing education, you must provide proof of 12 RCCB-approved CEUs attained from the date of certification to the deadline date for recertification. RCC certificants whose current certificate has an expiration date between September 30, 2013 and November 30, 2015, will be required to submit 2.5 RCCB-approved CEU credits related to ICD-10 as part of the 12 RCCB-approved CEUs needed for recertification. No. You do not have to be an RBMA member to take the exam or recertify.
