Susan Gregg is the president of Shared Management Services (SMS), a revenue cycle management company serving multiple specialties. Susan has over 35 years of management experience in the healthcare industry.

Ms. Gregg has been an active member of RBMA earning her fellowship distinction in 2011. She currently serves on the ACR Managed Care Network, the Oklahoma Medicare Contractor Advisory Committee, and the Medicare Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group (POEAG). Susan is certified as a Medical Practice Executive by the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Healthcare Billing and Management Association.

Maria Tran, RCC, CPC, CIRCC has been a radiology coder for over 14 years.  She is an economics analyst in the Economics & Health Policy department at the American College of Radiology (ACR).  Maria serves on the editorial board of the AMA/ACR Clinical Examples in Radiology, and contributes to the ACR Radiology Coding Source bimonthly coding and reimbursement electronic newsletter.  In addition, she is responsible for the review and update of the Interventional Radiology Coding Update, and Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine coding guides.  She also is responsible for the review and coordination of ACR comments on the proposed National Correct Coding Initiative edits. 

Prior to ACR, Maria was the radiology coding consultant at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.  She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.A. in sciences and is currently working on her MBA in Healthcare Management.

Claudia serves as Director of Quality Payment Programs for AdvancedBI as well as holding the position of Corporate and HIPAA Compliance Officer for MSN Healthcare Solutions, a privately-held, national medical billing and practice management firm. Through Claudia?s work at MSN, she has been integral in developing Quality Insights, a tool in advyzeBI designed to monitor and aggregate data for Clients' participation in various quality payment initiatives. Prior to joining MSN in 2014, Claudia was a principal of CMC Consulting, LLC, a healthcare consulting firm that specialized in Medicare compliance programs, coding and compliance audits, and accounts receivable analysis for physician practices, imaging centers, and billing services. MSN had been a client of CMC for more than 15 years making it a natural fit for her. Claudia currently serves as the Treasurer for the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB) and has been a member of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) for more than 10 years, serving on multiple committees.

Since September 25, 2017, AJ Hernandez, BPS, RCC, CPC, has joined the staff of the American College of Radiology, ACR, coding section. AJ is well known by many in the radiology coding community and comes to us with over 18 years of experience in radiology. For the past 12 years AJ served as the Compliance and Privacy Officer at Vantage Radiology & Diagnostic Services, P.S., a practice and billing company in Federal Way, WA. Prior to this, she worked for 8 years as an interventional radiology lead coder for Medical Imaging NW in Tacoma, WA and worked her way up to the Compliance & HIPAA Officer position. She has a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies from the S.U.N.Y. at Brockport, has been a radiology certified coder since 2001, and an AAPC certified professional coder since 2003. Since 2010, AJ has been a member of the AMA/ACR’s Clinical Examples in Radiology editorial board, and in 2015 was elected as an industry director to the Radiology Coding Certification Board. She also is well-known for the active role she has played in the Radiology Business Management Association’s coding forum list serve.

Dr. Milburn is an interventional neuroradiologist at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana where serves as radiology residency program director and section head of neuroradiology. Dr. Milburn is a graduate of the UMKC School of Medicine, Ochsner Clinic radiology residency, and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology fellowships. He reviews manuscripts and abstract submissions for multiple Journals and scientific meetings including the Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery and the International Stroke Conference of the American Stroke Association. Dr. Milburn is past-president of the Radiologic Society of Louisiana, and he is on the editorial board of the AMA/ACR Clinical Examples in Radiology. He is a member of the ACR Economics Committee on Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular and the APDR Electronics Communication Committee. Dr. Milburn has authored numerous journal publications and abstracts throughout his career, and his current research interests include stroke intervention, intracranial aneurysm treatment, machine learning, and radiology education.

Dave Jakielo has over 40 years of experience in healthcare. His background includes twelve years in hospital patient finance and, subsequently, over three decades of managing physician practices and working with Medical Billing Companies.

Dave has been speaking, consulting and teaching business methods to managers, clerical staffs, business owners and other professionals throughout North America and in Europe and Asia.

He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, customer service, business start-ups and turnarounds, due diligence process and acquisitions assimilation.

He is co-author of four books and he is also a regular columnist in the trade journals Billing and BC Advantage.

Dave received his CHBME (Certified Healthcare Billing & Management Executive) in 1998. His professional membership includes being a Past President of the Healthcare Billing & Management Association (HBMA). In addition he is past President of the National Speakers Association – Pittsburgh Chapter and also holds membership in the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Dave is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and received his Masters in Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a certified trainer and has trained at the Buckley School of Public Speaking. Since 1995 he has been President of his own Seminar and Consulting Company.

His passion is to help Medical Billing Companies, Grow, Prosper and become Highly Successful.

Matt Hawkins is a pediatric interventional radiologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. He is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.S. – High Honors) and Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine (MD). Dr. Hawkins was a resident and chief resident at the University of Cincinnati and served as chief fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He also completed additional fellowship training in vascular interventional radiology at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital. Throughout his early career, he has actively volunteered for organized radiology and serves as associate editor of the JACR, chair of the ACR’s Innovation Advisory Council, CPT alternate advisor for the Society of Interventional Radiology, and co-chair of the ACR 2016 Clinical Pathway. He also serves on the ACR Metrics Committee, RSNA Public Information Advisory Network, and the Society for Imaging Informatics’ (SIIM) Content and Publications Committee. He is also a former member of the ACR Council Steering Committee, the ACR CEO Search Committee, and is a former Chair of the ACR Resident and Fellow Section. He has authored 19 peer-reviewed articles and 17 columns in radiology journals and has presented 23 abstracts at national meetings. He and his wife, Kimberly, have two daughters.
